Welcome to the Year 3/4 S class page
Mrs Stevenson is the teacher of class 3/4 S and our teaching assistants are Mrs Barclay and Mrs Jarman.
We are looking forward to learning lots this year, while having fun and enjoying ourselves. Last term we had a brilliant time on our trip to Highwoods Country Park with Mr Ganley's class and we really enjoyed our end of term show,'The Nativity' especially our song Midnight!
This term the whole school theme is 'Tune in2 KFJ' and we will be looking at all the different ways we can communicate. In our class photography will have a particular focus. Our role play area is going to be a photographer's studio and we will be using the ICT programme 'Photostory' to create our own stories.
In Science we are going to be finding out about electricity and making circuits and a lightbox!
We are planning a trip to the new First Site Art Gallery in Colchester for later in the term.
In our science lessons we have been looking at which materials would be best for making a teepee.
We have been testing different materials.
A Lesson with Mr Ganley
Mr Ganley gave us some paper and cellotape and we had to see who could make the tallest tower.
